My son is named Teddy after his father. At first, I was completely against the name, but then I spoke to my aunt who worked in a school and said none of her students were named Teddy, and that was a plus for me. I was a teacher at the time, and it was at that time that I realized that there were no Teddys in my school either. Actually, I thought, the name is quite cute all through life. My son is named Teddy, and I can't imagine anything else...as a baby he was my teddy bear and as a pre-teen he is my T-man,and I'm sure as he grows his name will change again, but I love that his name is not the most popular.

He is the son of werewolf Remus Lupin and Nymphadora (who hates her name and prefers to be called Tonks) and is born in the seventh installment of the series, Harry Potter is made Teddy Lupin's godfather, Remus and Tonks soon die.
