Personal experiences with the name Terrell: | Edit: My great-great-aunt, born around the turn of the century, was named Terrell, so it has been used as a female name, and is not strictly modern, unless you use a broad definition of modern. I don't know how her parents chose the name; she passed several years ago, and had been suffering from Alzheimer's for many years before that.
