I am a 32 year old named Angelle, pronounced Aun-Gel. I have usually went by Angie, since no one has ever been able to pronounce my name correctly. I've been called Angel,Angelee,Angela, etc. I was named after my grandma who was French, so I've always assumed the name Angelle is French.

My name IS Angelle.
I went by my middle name for 13 years because...well...I don't think anyone really knew how to say it correctly.
However, I'm 22 years into life now and it is now the name I go by.

I think Angelle is a beautiful, sophisticated, original yet mysterious name.
If you intend to name your child Angelle, please encourage your child throughout their life to always correct their name when mispronounced. Overall, The name is quite AWESOME!
