Personal experiences with the name Anneliese: | Edit

my name is anneliese and im 18 yrs old it was my moms name back when she was in german class in h.s when i was in h.s i found out that nobody could pernonce my name!!!!! first or last. in h.s there was another girl with my name but she didnt spell it the way i do i absolutly love my name and wouldnt change it for the world except maybe when im signing something then my name gets in the way lol

My name is Annelise and I absolutely love having it. It is a name that is unique yet made from two more familiar names. I find it empowering to have a name that not everyone has. The only problems I have with it are constant misspellings.

My best friends name is Anelise (she spells it with only one N) and we've been best friends for 11 years. It's funny, because I've always called her Annie, but her mom changed the spelling of her name to only one N because she DIDN'T want people calling her Annie. :P I even got yelled at by her grandma once because it was such a beautiful name and Annie was so common, so I was tainting her name by calling her Annie. O.O I was five or six when this happened.
