I thought about naming my baby girl Arwen but then a few friends of mine pointed out that Arwin (spelled differently but pronounced the same) is the name of the creepy janitor from "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody." I still love the name Arwen, but my friends totally ruined it for me. What girl wants to grow up knowing that she shares a name with a freak from her favorite TV show?

My daughter's name is Arwen. She likes her name and we love that she is the only Arwen we know. Arwen is the elven daughter of Elrond in the Lord of The Rings. She marries the King Aragorn. We gave our little princess a royal name. :)

My sister and brother-in-law named their daughter, born in 2007, Arwen Undomiel after the character in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. I had to laugh at my brother-in-law's dorkiness, but I actually think her middle name is really cool-sounding. And she definitely looks like a little elf!! The name suits her perfectly.
