Personal experiences with the name Beatrix: | Edit

We named our daughter Beatrix, and we receive so many compliments about her pretty name. Unusual yet traditional, it is classic and fun at the same time. The main trouble is that so many people refer to her as Beatrice, presumably just because it's a more popular variant and people *think* that's what they heard! I love that we don't know any other girls called Beatrix, and I hope that our daughter's name will only conjour positive preconceptions throughout her life.
