i have never in my 20 years ran into another person my age named Blanche. I hated the name when i was younger but now that im grown i like it. Its never a matter like "which Blanche?" cause there's only one that any given person would know. In my whole high school of 5500 kids, i was the only one. My friends make up little nicknames that include my name in it like Blanchehills Blanchers or B-lanche or just B. i never got a nickname that was an abbreviation cause Blanche is only one syllable. SOMEONE ELSE NAME THEIR DAUGHTER BLANCHE. LET THERE BE MORE BLANCHE'S IN THE WORLD. By the time i die, somone else will have named their daughter Blanche because of me. That's a goal.
