I'm in my 30's I'm female and my name is Brodie. I can tell you from experience that I was never
really teased about my name.. however nobody ever got it right! I was always a Bettie, Rodie? etc..
Growing up I was annoyed by most people not listening when they heard my name. It still happens but for
the most part I love my name and I think boy names for girls are cute! I have a 5 year old Daughter and I named her Charlie! and no it's not short for anything... That's another one I got asked all the time.. open your ears people!!!

My 5 year old daughter's name is Brody, and I have been told so many times that naming a girl that is just setting them up to get made fun of. Im not sure how, since there are lots of "boy" names that are used for girls without any issues. I love her name, and I think it fits her perfectly. She is quite popular in school and no kids have ever had an issue with her name...only adults that felt the need to call her "Grody Brody" and give me grief about naming her that.

I've also got a little girl named Brody, and I love her name. I've had people call her 'rosie' and 'brady', but to be honest thats just peoples ignorance and not listening! I've heard that its quite a common girls name in Australia. I think its unique, without being ridiculous.
