Personal experiences with the name Carlie: | Edit

My name is Carlie. I often get called Charlie, or asked if my full name is Charlotte, Charlene, Caroline, etc. Sometimes when people are calling my name, it gets confused as a male "Mr. Carlie Lastname, please"

I'm used to my name by now, but sometimes wish I had been given a 'formal' name. At this point in my life, if someone still calls me Charlie when I have a name tag on, or have corrected them repeatedly, I just give up.

My sister-in-law's name is Carlie. She was named for her grandfather. I love the name, and she is a beautiful person, inside and out!

I like my name, but always get called Charlie or Claire...people rearrange the letters. I also get called Kylie -which is much more common here in Australia (and I HATE the name Kylie). I would have much rather have been called Charlotte or Caroline.

Nicknames for Carlie: | Edit

I get called 'Carls' I used to hate it when I was younger, but have grown to like it. -there really aren't a lot of nicknames to get from Carlie.
