Personal experiences with the name Ceinwen: | Edit

Ceinwen is my name and I've never wished it to be anything more "normal": You have a built in conversation as soon as you are introduced to anyone and it's never become fashionable, so I'm always the only one. I've never met another since I was tiny and my Nana in Cardiff had a friend called Ceinwen, but over the years I have encountered people who have met another one - a man who owned the video shop around the corner said it was his wife's name.

I'd recommend it as a name that can't be called "weird" such as Apple or Heavenly Hiraani Tiger-Lily, but will always be unusual.
