My little sister's name is Chandra, a lot of people pronounce is Sandra or CHAN-dra, I have never know why.

This name was a killer for me to learn how to spell when I was 5. People also always assume I am African American, I work in the corporate world and it has had a negative impact on job searches, which has been an eye opener for me, and has adjusted my view of other races.
