I used to hate it because I thought it sounded old, but as I got more compliments on the name I embraced it and I love it. My grandma's nickname growing up was Collie (Coe-Lee... not cah-lee like the dog.) I love the name Collette. So much that I'm dropping my last name and having my stage name be Caitlin Collette.
