My best friend's name is Corinne and despite people misspelling her name all the time its on of my favorite names because its so unique so we always say there will be so many rachel and sarahs but there's one Corinne! One of my favorite nicknames for the name Corinne it Rinne

Like many of the other readers most people cannot spell or pronounce my name. For me school was particularly difficult. How I wish my name was more common!!! My name was even spelled wrong on my birth certificate. And my mother-in-law never spelled it right.

If parents have a boy but wish to honor a female relative named Corinne, they can use the masculine name Corin (which has different origins, but sounds similar).

My name is Corinne and people have an awful time spelling it and pronouncing it -- no matter how many times I try to clarify it for them.

My name is Corinne, too. All my teachers pronounce it wrong and everyone ends up mad when I try to correct them. Everyone wants to put two r's and one n, and it's frustrating.

I have this name too except it's spelled Coryn. Everyone pronounces and spells it wrong. Plus, my spelling is never anywhere. It really sucks and I have never met anyone else with my name. However, everyone says it's really pretty and unique so I guess I should be thankful for that.

I named my third daughter Corinne. People always misspell or mispronounce her name. I didn't realize it would be such a problem when I named her. But I love her name, and wouldn't change it.
