my name is courtlynn and people mispronounce my name all the time eventhough it is spelled exactly like it sounds. the most common mispronunciation i get is courtney. its like when i say my name all they hear is court and they automatically assume that the rest of it is -ney

I have the same problem. My name is Courtlyn and people will always say CourtNEY. It makes me mad because I know they can READ yet they still assume its Courtney. Anyway, I LOVEEE my name and I wouldn't change it for the world!!!

People have called me Courtney or CourtLAND but I mean like my social studies teacher calls me "Courtney" all the time when I'm like "IT'S COURTLYN!" But I do have a nickname, It's Corky. (Don't ask how I got the name) We should all be proud of our names. It's hardly used so we're special. <3
