I love the name Daisy, especially as a nickname for Margaret. Then, if you grow out of Daisy, you can introduce yourself as meg, or maggie instead. plus, if you were to become president, or something, would you want to be President Daisy Smith, or President Margaret Smith?
- Personal experiences with the name Daisy: | Edit
Growing up, I never had another person in my class with the same name, so I guess that was nice...until I finally did in high school. Everyone always thought they were orignal by calling me, "Daisy Duke!", "Driving Miss Daisy", or "Daisy Fuentes". I've heard them all more than a few times. Hate it. Then there's people who have pets named Daisy. That's fun...like I really need to know that. I've had some people say they love my name; I always want to tell them, "you can have it then!" I guess it's nice, but growing up with it is not. Oh, and you would think that spelling it would be EASY, but no, people always think (for whatever reason) that it's spelled D-A-I-S-E-Y or D-A-S-I-Y or D-A-S-I-E. What the heck?!
