As a nickname for Margaret?! How have I never heard of that before?! Crazy! My mum's dog was called Daisy, she was a handsome and calm chocolate brown labrador.
I love the name Daisy, especially as a nickname for Margaret. Then, if you grow out of Daisy, you can introduce yourself as meg, or maggie instead. plus, if you were to become president, or something, would you want to be President Daisy Smith, or President Margaret Smith?
I was a dog trainer for a couple of years, and met many dogs named Daisy. The name is quite popular with dogs, especially hound dogs.
