Personal experiences with the name Danae: | Edit

This is my name, but it's spelt D'Nae. I've never met anyone with the name, but every so often somone in public will hear or see my name and respond with "oh that's my daughter's middle name!" My mom found the name in the obituary after a young girl died; her middle name was Danae. I've tried to pair it up with different names to see how it would as a middle name, but by me being use to hearing it as my first, it's kinda difficult!

Danaë was a figure of an Ancient Greek myth. She was the daughter of Eurydice, the king of Argos and was the mother of Perseus. (His father was Zeus who came to her disguised as a shower of gold.)
