I really like my name, Dayna. It is frequently misspelled (Dana) and even occasionally mispronounced (Dan-Ya). I still love it because it is a slightly uncommon name but recognizable.

Beautiful, simple, intelligent, unique.

I like my name because it is hard to make into anything inappropriate or offensive. On the flip side of that, it is also hard to give me a nickname related to the name Dayna because it can't really be shortened or anything. I was "D" to some of my friends because they couldn't come up with any other name-related nicknames. That's why I like it!

My name is Dayna and I am 20 years old. I think my name suits me perfectly, I cant imagine being anything else. I like being one of the only Dayna's I know. However, since Ive begun at a university, Ive met so many other Daynas, 4 so far. It is a very uppity university, so I feel like Dayna is a name for intelligent girls. It can also be very athletic or sweet sounding.
