We liked the three sylable pentameter of the name which in Wales ends with an 'i'. But changed the last letter to a 'y'. Too many 'Tracys' in the seventies became Traci. :)

We called our daughter Elery with her middle name as Rose. Everyone who hears it loves it. She's now 8 and loves it too. When we moved from the UK to CT, unbeleivably there is a girl the same age with an alternate spelling Ellery. Gives it a French twist??
