My name is actually Flavia. I hated it at first but soon I got used to it. The two things I hate about my name is that I can not think of a good nickname and when people ask me my name, they always pronounce it Flabia. ITS NOT FLABIA. It is Flavia. But the good thing is that it is not like other names and it is unique.

My mum dreamed about calling me Flavia but my dad didn't like it. He wanted a more common name. In the end they called me Amy, which I like, but I would have LOVED to have been called Flavia, especially as it is the name of the main character in one of my favourite books. However, I probably would'nt like it so much if I was called it after all.
