Personal experiences with the name Flora: | Edit

Flora is one of my all-time favorite names, but when I was pregnant my husband, who was British, nixed it because it was a brand of margarine in England.

We named our 2nd daughter Flora Marina 19 years ago. Her older sister is Lucia (Loo-sha) Miranda. I see Flora has still not become popular. That's ok. At least it is unlikely to be mispronounced. Nicknames are Flor and Flo, but usually just Flora. I think she likes her name.
