My mums name is hazel, named by parents Alma and Bobby, so I always used to think of it as being quite an old fashioned name, but recently I've reconsidered and now think of it as quite a beautiful name. Made more so by the fact my mum has beautiful hazel eyes, something they could not have known at the naming.
