Personal experiences with the name Hermione: | Edit

My name is Hermione and I was born in 1996 so, no, my parents didn't name me after Hermione Granger because 'Harry Potter' wasn't published in the U.S untill 2 years later. (but yes, I am a 'Harry Potter' fan) People only tease me by calling me 'Hermione Granger' but I don't mind it. Personally I love my name and I think people would be more open to naming their daughters "Hermione" if 'Harry Potter' wasn't published. I think it's a shame because it's a really pretty name. Both my sisters and I have Greek names; Caitryn (b. 1993), Hermione (me, b.1996), Abbeline (b. 1999).
