Now in common use as an independent given name, Hilda was brought to England by Scandinavian invaders before the Norman Conquest. I know few Hungarian people but have come across two Ildikos.

Ildiko - meanings: "Battle", "Fighter", "Fierce Worrior" I love it. Ildiko is the name of the woman I'm dating. And do I love her.
But I say this regarding my Ildiko, Strong and everything above is how she would be described, because she's 5'8, She is a Trainer as am I. She is Fit, Slim, Toned, Athletic, Trains with Both Cardio and Streinth Training and is a head turner. Her voice in a little deep and she has a heavy accent. I call her my Fierce Warrior. She loves it. Interesting being that my name being Herbert "Glorious Solder", "Bright Army".
I think we are right for each other. Together a force to be reckoned with.
