Personal experiences with the name Ina: | Edit

My great-aunt was christened Ina Ismay (pronounced with a strong I sound). As a child she was nicknamed Ina Dinah Do and therefore was known amongst the family as Dinah. Formally she remained Ina but over the years this became pronounced Eena. She passed away recently aged 90 and it was so funny at the funeral where everyone who spoke about her used a different name! Her middle name, Ismay, was from her Mother, Ada Ismay, although I am unsure as to where her first name was chosen from.
