Personal experiences with the name Kaitlin: | Edit

I would like to preface this by saying that I love my name, however, it has become overly common. Due to this, it has a lost a great deal of it's appeal. My name is Kaitlin E. and there is a girl who has my same first, middle, and last name who--my entire life--has been known as my "evil twin" due to her trouble with the law, dropping out of school, getting pregnant, etc. I get slapped with her reptuation while she gets slapped with mine (HS honors having graduated at 16, Dean's List, soon-to-be colleg graduate, etc). It's frustrating, and wouldn't happen if I did not have one of the most common names in America.
There is also the fact that no one seemed to know how to spell it, and you'll be called ever "K" or "C" name, but Kaitlin.
