I really like the way the letter K' looks and its right before my letter L' in the alphabet. So i searched and searched for a name beginning with the letter K' for my daughter while i was pregnant, and i came upon this beautiful name Kaliyah i just fell in love with. I knew it was perfect for my baby girl. I also i adore long meaningful names...as appose to something so blah as Ana..sorry no offense but its just not unique too many common names out there. Well off subject but back to the point of this unique name Kaliyah i gave my daughter i just added an extra L' to it. The extra L' made her name even more unique, and specially personalized just for her. Kalliyah meaning BEAUTIFUL i gave her middle name as DESTINY for my daughter Kalliyah is my beautiful destiny. -by Leticia H. O'campo

it took a little while for people i know to warm up to it, but then quickly fell in love with it and also fell in love with the one who bares this name my beautiful daughter. now everyone loves it and appreciates a unique name such as Kalliyah. yes i added an extra L' to the original Kaliyah spelling
