Personal experiences with the name Kallie: | Edit: This is my name (spelling and all) and I love, love, love it. It's uncommon but not so unfamiliar that people have a hard time with it. I've only ever met 2 other Kallie's (any spelling...there are a million ways of spelling it) in my whole life. In college I almost never used my last name on stuff because I was the only Kallie. Friends and family call me "Kal" for short, which used to bother me when i was a kid because it sounded like 'cow' but i got over it pretty easily and i don't mind anymore. The other main nickname is "kalpal" which i like. I don't know why more people don't name their daughters Kallie, but I highly recommend it. It has the same appeal of Kelly or Ally without the commonality, and for whatever reason, i love that it's spelled with a K.
