My Kaori is a MALE. It is a wonerful, unique and rare name. We found it in a name book which said it meant strong. It is a Japanese name. I have searched it. When he was first born there was nothing on the internet. Now you will find a few seemingly young female designers etc online.

My name is Kaori and I'm a Japanese female.This is one of most common female name in Japan,beyond generation.This name is also used for male,but much lesser than female.Meaning varies,because most of "Kaori" in Japan is written in Kanji.But in this case,meaning which include"fragrant"is most common.
My name means "fragrant".Other meaning is,"weave songs"or,so many,same to other names which is Japanese origin,cause we can convine Kanji freely.In other country,Kaori can be rare name.also,I found at other baby name site,Kaori's meaning is written as Strong.no such a kanji fit to reading "Kaori",so I asked the website to fix it.sorry for another poster,but if It is Japanese origin,the meaning is very hardly exist.
