My sister is named Kasia (she spells it Kassia). I have always loved her name. She occasionally gets called kass-EE-ah, but most people remember how to pronounce and spell it properly after correction. When she was little, my uncle would call her Kaczka (kah-ch-kah), which is Polish for duck. It was cute.
