Comments and insights on the name Katie: | Edit

My name is Katie. Well actually my real nme is Katherine, but I've always been called Katie. I think its a really great name! it sounds good with all lastnames and middlenames and is good for any age. What I like about it is that you cant find any way to tease anyone called Katie! Its an awesome, pretty yet not too girly name!

I think it's a really pretty name! But I wouldn't choose it myself as can be a bit like a nickname.

Personal experiences with the name Katie: | Edit

It is a fun name, easy to spell. Now that I'm hitting my mid-20s though I do sometimes wish I had a more full name for official uses (interviews, academic papers, etc.). I would not personally use the nicknames-as-names trend.
