I've met a number of Kendras and they usually fall into two categories: Young African-American girls (usually under 15) or young white women (usually under 35), who tend to come from very affluent, Yuppie-ish backgrounds.

I disagree. My cousin's name is Kendra and she doesn't fall into either of those catergories. She is a very nice woman in her late twenties and is not the least bit "yuppie-ish".
