Comments and insights on the name Lacy: | Edit

My name is Lacy and I am 30 years old. I've never been fond of my name and as a child dreamed of changing it. When I was a kid in elementary school, other kids would make fun of me and call me Lazy, Lassie, or Lame-y. By mistake, I often became "Lucy" on official paperwork. This is not a common spelling of Lacy, most with this name spell it Lacey, though Laci seems to be popular also. My nickname is Lace, and I often go by this, though I frequently get comments that its a stripper name. To me, the name sounds a bit fluffy, and the first impression people get from my name is that I will be very girly, wear pink, and be ditzy. Over-all I think it's a pretty name, but has many problems.
