The above definitions may found on some name sites, but are a bit misleading. For instance, the Bulgarian word for tulip is лале, which is LAH-leh rather than LAH-LAH. And Lara is either short for Larisa or a form of Laura, so it's not clear what a "Hawaiian equivalent of Lara" means.
