I love both my names, Lorraine Gracelyn..both are very beautiful, unique, nd uncommon. I have been the Onlyy Lorraine in all 3 schools; elementary, jr. high, nd high school..the only other lorraine I kno is my friend's grandmother.so if you are a parent-to-be then Lorraine is a great name for a daughter(:

Lorraine (German: Lothringen) is one of the 26 régions of France. It is the only administrative region with two cities of equal importance, Metz and Nancy. Metz is considered to be the official capital since that is where the regional parliament is situated. The region's name is derived from the medieval Lotharingia.
