I named my daughter Malia (mah-LEE-ah), even though I wondered if people would be able to pronounce it. But it has not been a problem and people think it's beautiful. I love it!

My name is spelled Meliya but it's pronounced mah-Lee-ah. Alot of times when people see my name written, the say it mah-LI-ah. My parents named me this after hearing the name during a trip to Hawaii. I love the spelling of my name!
