A really strong name but still has some old school charm. Just an all American good name. Not an attention seeker like some surnames as FN's go. And it doesn't end in -er. Hooray for our side!
Its a great name. All surnames are unisex but the definition alone on this name makes me think 100% rough and tumble most certainly devilishly handsome... boy!

I think this name is more of a boys name but that might just be my personal opinion. It has too much of a manly cute rough sensitive sound to it all at once to be a girls name.
