I'm 26 and have been called Nanette my whole life; never any nicknames. I LOVE my name. It is unique but not weird. People do seem to have a hard time spelling it, and pronouncing it the first time, but it doesn't bother me. I'm now trying to find a name for my daughter that I love as much as I love my own name!
