We have a daughter named Natalie Annastasia. I love her name and she does too! She was named after my Aunt Tilly, although my husband prefers Natalie to Tilly. Annastasia is my Mum's name.

Personal experiences with the name Natalie: | Edit

As a child I didn't care for my name that much, I guess it didn't bother me for long though. I love my name and love my nicknames just as much. My closest BFF's call me Natty all the time. It makes me feel pretty special since I know it is as unique as Natalie. For those of you who dislike your name, I hope you grow to love it as much as the rest of us Natalie's in the world!

So many people want to spell this name with an "i" after the "t". I've never met anyone that spelled it that way, but I encounter this spelling all the time.

I'm a Natalie and I love my name but no one spells it right. :D

My 9 year old daughter is named Natalie (born in 1999) The Christmas meaning to her name is significant as she was born the day after Christmas.

My name is natalie but everyone thinks it is natili!!!

My name is Natalie, and I dislike it when folks, add an H in it like the cook, or a y at the end, drives me nuts. Ironically I was not born during or around Christmas, but my daughter was.

My name is Natalie also and I was NOT born near Christmas, which is ironic. It gets misspelled a lot, which is weird because Natalie is a common name. I used to hate it when I was little because it is/was so common. Now I'm sort of starting to warm up to it, but I think it's kind of pedestrian.

I HATE my name. Everyone automatically shortens it to Nat; which sounds like the annoying bug. I go by Allie and have since Jr. High. I equate the nickname to Patrick being called Rick. I never thought of using Talie, but I like that alternative too. As long as you don't call me Nat. :o)

I have a friend of Natalie who's nickname is Nat and I LOVE it, I'm so endeared to the name Nat, I considered Natalie for one of my own daughters (husband didn't like it). I suppose a nickname like Nat could go ither way but I think it's adorable!

-My name is Natalie, I think its pretty good, for some reason my friends call me Naala and have for as long as I can remember. I used to work as a receptionist and got call Melanie a lot over the phone, so that was kind of annoying. Overall, Natalie is a solid name.
