Comments and insights on the name Reese: | Edit

Our daughter's name is Reese Hannah. We wanted a name that was cute for a little girl and was sophisticated for an adult woman. So far it is uncommon where we live in the northeast. Since Reese historically has been a masculine name, we paired it with Hannah a very feminine name and also my great-grandmother's name. She gets many complements on her name, although there are times when people think her name is "Grace".
We are now trying to come up with a name for baby #2. If it is a boy it will be Graham Joseph and for a girl it will be Noa Josephine.

My wife and I have always used pet names for each other. It just seemed natural to have one for our daughter. One day I was calling for Reese and I said, "Where's my Reese-A-Roni"....and it as stuck ever since. Even when we text each other about Reese, we type "RAR".
