If you are considering naming your daughter Regina, take a look at what it is backwards. It may not be an exact spelling, but when kids play the "backwards name game" on the playground (which all children do), your little girl just might shout, "I'm _______!" to the horror of many onlookers. If you absolutely love the name, or it's after a relative, by all means don't let me stop you. I knew a Raegina, if you want to use that spelling. Otherwise, consider Gina as an alternative.

Please, do NOT use the pronunciation re-JIY-na. Just DON'T.
