Comments and insights on the name Sara: | Edit

I was told once by a girl that has an h that we should re-think our choice because our daughter would have to spend a ton of time correcting people, but our experience is people either ask or spell it without it. I thought because of her it would be a big issue, but it really isn’t…. and I’m more inclined to say that the people with the h are the ones that have a spelling issue.

It looks incomplete without the "h." Kinda like the mom got lazy when filling out the birth certificate or something.

I like Sara so much better without the "h". I hate unnecessary letters in names; maybe because people used to put in "h" in my name!

Sara without the "h" looks cleaner to me. I don't like unnecessary letters either. However, it's just like any other name; it's all personal preference.

Sara without the H is the standard spelling in several languages. It's not a misspelling.
