Personal experiences with the name Shawn: | Edit: One of my middle names is Shawn and people are constantly saying "isn't that a boy's name??'
Well my cousin told my parents he wanted them to name me Shawn (he was hoping I'd be a boy) but my parents learned I'd be a girl so they gave me Shawn as a middle name instead. I love it. It's unique. I haven't met any other girls named Shawn though I have heard of one (that gymnast). My whole name is unique without going too far over the line.
