No one will ever spell this name right on the first try...or subsequently. I think it is the best spelling, though.

My given name is Shelli Kae, which no one spells correctly the first time. But once I correct them, it usually starts a conversation about 'why is it spelled that way?' 'Are you named after someone?' (yes) 'Is your real name Michelle?' (no) ect. I have ever met anyone else with the name spelled the same way. So I was NEVER mixed up with another girl at school, like so many Mary's, Lisa's and Jenny's. In general, I am very happy with my name. Thanks Mom and Dad!
