My name is Sonnet. People generally ask one of two things: 1) How did you get your name or 2) is that a type of song? I'm not sure why people think of it as a song (as it is a type of poem). Also, when we study Shakespear (or Petrachian) sonnets in school, people like to make jokes (example: Haha! We're "doing" Sonnet!), and you keep thinking the teacher is calling on you when she's really just saying sonnet.
