I named my oldest daughter Spencer Elizabeth. Princess Di died while I was pregnant with her and Spencer was her maiden name, so Spencer can say she was named after a princess!

I used this name for my second daughter. It's unusual but it was a good match for her older sibling. She sometimes wished I had spelled it Spenser to distiguish it from the male version.

I have a friend named Spencer and I love the name! I think that it suits her well and that it should not only be a boy's name, but a girl's name too. I also love the nickname Spence.
