I read an article that the authors last name was tannessien or something close to that. I pronounced it Tan-nes-in. As soon as I heard the name i knew that was my baby girls new name. We shorting the spelling for reader and for her to have an easier time spelling.

Everyone loves it! She is one of a kind and her name fits her perfectly. She is now six, and in kindergarten. We made up a little saying to help her spell her name; t-a-n-i-s-e-n that's my name and I'll spell it again... and she got first day with that.
