Personal experiences with the name Tirzah: | Edit

My husband and I just named our daughter Tirzah. I was a little worried people would think it was weird, but everyone loves it so far. We have gotten a few comments that we're saying it wrong - the actual hebrew word is pronounced "tirtsah" with the accent on the second syllable. (I usually respond that her name is "tirtsah" like my husband's name is "yonatan" - in other words, as long as we're speaking English, it's not her name.)
