My daughter, Valeska, is almost four now. My family hated the name at first, but I heard it years ago in television movie about Napoleon and then saw it again when looking for names for my baby. I've always loved it and everyone around me now loves it as they see there's no other name that fits our daughter. She's beautiful, ingelligent, funny, loving and kind which is all the things I thought Valeska fit into. We've gotten so many compliments of her name over the years there's no way the nay sayers in the family could say they still don't like it. People come out of the woodwork it seems to find out more about her name and how I chose it which I also picked because my great great grandmother was from Slovakia and came here to Ellis Island from there. It's beautiful and unique just like my little girl.
