Personal experiences with the name Vashanti: | Edit

Firstly my daughters name is Vashanti. I thought that i cleverly invented the name but sadly that was not to be true. Anyway, as a single lady looking for job i was interviewed by a woman, her name was Vashti. She was beautiful, dressed well, looked educated, confident, classy, sexy and could hold her own. I immediately noticed these things and because of what i noticed i always remembered her name 'vashti'. A year later, i met my partner and was pregnant with our first child. We believed that our baby was going to be a boy but for some reason i still kept coming up with baby girl names just in case i guess. Then the name vashti kept popping into my head but i wanted something a bit softer. I envisaged what an 'ashanti' child would be like. Then i incorporated vashti and ashanti together and was sold. And thankfully she came out a girl and not a boy!lol.

She is everything that i envisaged for a girl named vashanti! She carries the well and unique because of it. unfortunately the one downfall is that unless people see that spelling of her name they sometimes have trouble pronouncing it.
