So we went with Nolan Michael Brodie!
thanks again for all the input :)
I vote Elise for a middle name. It's my daughters and i just love it. We get a lot of compliments too! and it's derived from Elizabeth :)
Good pick! I also prefer Adaline as a middle name.
What about Charlottes middle name?
And there is also Evelyn nn Evie or sylvia nn Sylvie.
Thanks for the suggestions. i really don't like Lewis as much which is why we wanT Louis as the spelling. We are from Canada so i assume, more people are familiar with the the French way. As for starting fresh...this is the starting fresh run. We already exneyed our favorites weeks ago :(
Thanks for every one taking time to comment and send well wishes. I think our plan is to call him one name today, the other tomorrow and make a choice by Fathers Day on Sunday :) I'll let you know which one we choose!
We can't use Brodie as the first name as its my husbands name and we aren't interested in any Sr or Jr. And this is for sure our final child!! We have had a few long chats about what we like about the names and why, wi respecting why we aren't as fond of each others picks. I am going to suggest calling him one name for a day and then the other for a day and be consistent about it! My daughter has been calling him baby boy and so everyone has been doing that. Thanks for helping!
Yes we have and I really don't like the Lewis pronounc or spelling. Its frustrating as as a couple we are pretty good at compromising but this has been a real struggle!
thanks for the suggestions though.
i completely agree with you. I don't think the runner ups are even on the table now. I also suggested we start calling him something at home for 24 hrs. I started calling him Nolan first and now having a hard toswitching to Louis!
Thank you JnHsmom! I do like a lot of names on your list especially the girl choices...truly. However, hubby has vetoed them for whatever reason :( He had suggested Simon but for some reason I don't quite like it. It does fit all the criteria though...
I guess we will stick with the ones we have so far and hope that when we see the little one one stands out above the rest!
The names you have picked, while nice are all in the top 100 (some in top 50 or less) where we live! But thanks!
lol yes...there is a sea of names out there and I was pretty vague. Possible contenders have been:
Boy: Elliot, Kalvin, Jude
Girl: Elise, Charlie, Anika (middle), Everly (maybe)
